REGULAR DAY RIDES

South Coast Rides
New: a trial of a monthly ride starting in the south coastal area of the Fleurieu Peninsula.
The first ride will start at Goolwa on Saturday 6th February at 10am. Meeting place is under the Hindmarsh Island Bridge, Goolwa side.

Sunday Pleasure Rides  Organiser – Peter R  (Click for details)
Alternate Sunday mornings. Usually 10:00 am start.
In and around Adelaide. Rides usually 30 -50 km. Leisurely, social rides throughout the year.

Thursday Rural Rides  Organiser – David K  (Click for Details)
Thursdays 10.00am. Normally starting at the Woodside Swimming Pool Car Park
But on the first Thursday of every month it will start from other locations.

PERFECT Rides  Organiser – Peter H (Click for Details)
“Peter’s Exploratory Rides for the Enjoyment of Country Tracks.”
Sundays, approx monthly, generally 9:00 am start.
Locations within 2 hours drive of TTG. 65 – 70 km. Gravel roads to tracks. Pace slow.

ADDITIONAL RIDES

The “Festival of Cycling“, which replaces the “2021 Tour Down Under”, has cycling events from Tuesday 19th to Sunday 24th of January 2021 including a city street race on Sunday 24th of January in the afternoon.

HOT WEATHER and FIRE DANGER

For all scheduled SARCC Rides, if the Adelaide forecast maximum, as at 6.00 p.m. the evening before the ride is 35 degrees Celsius or over and/or the fire danger warning in the area of the ride is designated “Severe, Extreme, Catastrophic” the leader has the right to cancel the ride without notice.  Members interested in still riding should review the SARCC web site after 7pm the evening before the ride to determine if the ride has been cancelled, modified or will continue as scheduled.
